Reserved amounts of money for security

I must say that this new Chip Cards from Absa are just plain nonsense, I don't see the reason why when you a swipe, than the cash will be reserved in your account and will be debited only at a later stage more like a month from the day you purchased something. I don't budget for things that are reserved, because to me its like the money is being debited twice, because when it is being reserved, its "deducted" from my account on that day, because I won't be able to withdraw that money and it is not included in my available balance when my monthly salary goes in, than again it is deducted from my salary in a month's time, who said I was budgeting for that reserved amount of money that you didn't deduct on the day that I was swiping? Than the cashier tells you "no it is for security" Really what security is in there and on top of it YOU didn't evens inform us as your clients about this "security system" because really for me as a client it really is not working for me. can you please go back to the old ways of banking, because what if I don't have money in my account that time when you want to take your reserved amounts? than I have to pay for the bank charges.
