ABSA CHIP CARDS ARE VERY FRUSTRATING

I HAVE BEEN AN ABSA CUSTOMER FOR OVER 5 YEARS .MY CARD WAS CHANGED, BY ABSA, FROM A SWIPE CARD TO A CHIP ONE FOR REASONS THEY SAID " A BETTER AND SAFER'" OPTION. HOWEVER, EVER SINCE THIS CHANGE, I AM CONSTANTLY FRUSTRATED EVERY MONTH. AS I EXPLAINED TO THE CONSULTANT AT THE BANK, THE CHIP CARD DOES NOT GIVE ONE A TRUE REFLECTION OF ONES AVAILABLE BALANCE., RESERVED AMOUNTS ARE NOT DEDUCTED FROM TOTAL BALANCE BUT DOES ONLY LONG AFTERWARDS AND WHEN YOU THINK YOU HAVE X AMOUNT IN YOUR ACCOUNT... BOOOM IT GETS DEDUCTED AND YOU GET A SHOCKING REALISATION THAT YOU HAVE NO MONEY LEFT IN YOUR ACCOUNT. THIS IS VERY DECEIVING AND TERRIBLY FRUSTRATING AS ONE HAS NO CONTROL OF WHAT YOUR BALANCE IS AND I DONT SEE THE SENSE OF "NOTIFY ME"BALANCE WHEN ITS NOT A CORRECT REFLECTION OF WHATS GOING ON IN ONES ACCOUNT..I AM CONSIDERING CHANGING BANKS AS THE CONSULTANTS SAY THERES NOTHING THEY CAN DO TO HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEM... HELLLOOOOOO IS THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE??? I THINK NOT!!!.
