Bordering on scamming

Consultant gave me a quote saying x amount and that it won't be more than 5 years pay off. I confirmed this twice with the consultant, saying I don't want to find out later its more than 5 years or the amount has increased, he assured me it won't, that it might even be less so I signed on. Now, a week before payday, a negotiator comes back to me saying one of my creditors won't negotiate so I will need to pay that creditor myself (where do I get the funds for that since I am paying debt busters thousands) and that my monthly payment amount to them has been increased due to creditors not disclosing my life insurance on my itc. Why is this my problem? Then, she says my repayments will be over 8 years. Now, a week before payday debt busters hits me with this.
I signed on with them on the agreement I had with the first consultant. But now apparently what the consultant says means jack, it's the negotiator who has the final say. I have no qualms in calling this scamming.
