I was out of SA and my account wasn't paid by someone who was supposed to pay it. I sent an enquiry early this year and a lady called me saying that I was in arrears. I understood and advised her that I would definitely pay. I paid more than i was supposed to 4 months in a row, but realised that my card was still blocked. I sent another online enquiry, because I never get time to go into a bank. i was promised they would get back to me within 24 hours. Guess what, 2 weeks went by and no contact made! On my statement I was also getting debited for a garage card! As if i even have a garage card?!!? I decided to inconveniently go into the branch @ Maponya Mall, only to stand in a queue for close to 2 hours! Where teller 1 and teller 4 were helping other people who didnt stand in the queue! So we were standing there waiting to be assisted! Eventually i got assistance but the lady informed me that she could not see the reason why it was closed. On a call for 30 minutes being transferred from collections to card division, only to get no joy. They didnt know what to do. They need training! Worst customer service ever! Now i have been told I need to wait for 6 months! what is that!
