ABSA direct is taking me for a ride

I had an unfortunate incident of a smash and grab on the 27th June to my brand new car. I contacted ABSA direct on the 28th June and still today my claim has not been processed. I got a call from a gentleman named Themba on the 3rd of July saying it is still being investigated. Now can someone tell me, would i smash my car on purpose just to claim from insurance? Since then i have been trying to make contact with him and my claim is still not processed. This kind of service is what i call appauling. Premiums are paid but when it is time to process a claim i am treated like a nobody.
