LOST DOCUMENTS WHEN WRITTEN OFF CAR COLLECTED

Good Day

Under instruction from my claim's consultant at MiWay, I left my vehicle documents with Danmar in Longmeadow, Greenstone, to be collected along with the vehicle by SMD.

Danmar has advised that the documents were collected by SMD. SMD apparently claims that they do not have the documents.

MiWay is not finalising my claim, as they do not have the necessary documentation, yet I gave it over to Danmar on June 29th at approximately 11am.

It is now 12 July, and MiWay only advised me yesterday, once I called to enquire on the status of the claim, that they were still awaiting the necessary paperwork - 2 weeks after I handed it all over to Danmar.

This was after repeated emails to the claims department enquiring as to the status over the duration of this week and last week.

What is sad, is that I was at first overly impressed with the service that I had received from MiWay, so impressed, that I covered my new vehicle with them without shopping around, believing that the good service would continue. I am now seriously reconsidering.

And I have still not received any valid updates regarding the current situation.

Please fix this ASAP - I require the payout for financing!
