Switch from ABSA as they are money grubbing!

I have been banking with absa for 24 years now and I am a platinum customer and in a matter of 2 weeks they have ruined my credit file made me switch banks as they can't offer a better interest rate from 21%!!! The only way they will offer this is if you go to a competitor and get another quote so they don't loose you! Well I just refuse to give them my quotes from other banks as this is should not have to be doing that as a platinum customer! I have now managed to open a private bank account with nedbank in a matter of half an hour and get the loan I wanted with new credit card and they given me a better interest rate
