Blacklisted after account was settled 8 MONTHS ago

I sold my vehicle last year (2012) October and settled my account in full. Now I discover that according to my credit report, I am 8 payments behind on my repayments.
This is outrageous!!! When I phone the customer service number, I am told that I can not speak to the credit department as they do not take calls??!!

I need this sorted out ASAP as I am not at fault here! Now I can not apply for any credit due to no fault of my own.
My call gets transferred from one person to the next as no one wants to accept responsibility for this and SORT it OUT!!!
