Incompetent service providers

I am reporting this issue on behalf of my parents as they do not have internet access. We had damage to one of our vehicles due to the hail storm that occurred in October 2012. The vehicle was booked in at MV panelbeaters on 22 May 2013 for repairs with a note that the repairs will take 8 - 12 working days. First we were informed that there is a week delay and then another week and then another. We are now on 35 working days and no vehicle. I think that communication between OUTsurance and their service providers are pathetic. Here is advice to all people out there TAKE CAR HIRE OPTION ON YOUR POLICY then OUTsurance will be out of pocket for car hire and they will assist in getting the vehicles out of panel beating shops a lot quicker. We contacted OUTsurance today and were told that we will get feedback, I am not surprised that we did not here anything. The vehicle was still drivable before we booked it in at the panelbeater, this would have been a totally different story if we were told to book the vehicle when the panelbeater was ready to work on it.
