On 2nd July 2013 I emailed a claim for my Samsung and Blackberry cell phones. I followed up the following day to find out of the claim forms had been received, which they had. On Friday 5th July I received a call from Anthony regarding the Blackberry. He also advised me that he would call later that day regarding my claim for the Samsung. On Monday 8th July, I called to ascertain what was happening. I was advised that it was with the underwriters and that I would be contacted by Anthony later that day of the following day. Needless to say, no call was forthcoming!! Today, Wednesday 10th July, I called again. Anthony advised that the claim had been admitted and that I need to pay R 150.00 excess and then arrangements would be made to collect the phone. He said he email me bank details in order to pay the excess. It's after 6pm and no bank details have been sent to me. This just delays the collecting and fixing of my phone by yet another day. Wish I could have just taken the phone to MTN direct and let them deal with this crowd, rather than me spending time and money trying to get an answer! Customer service is non existent with this crowd! Ususal reply will be given by Megan...
