Good Day,

I am very unhappy due to the service I have received from Capitec bank (Park Station Branch in JHB). On the 05th July 2013 I went to try and open an account and the lady who works at the door had a very bad attitude. She asked me if I have the required documents which I had and presented to her. she then questioned my proof of statement/residence from my other account (FNB) saying that they need a specified date and not what was written i.e 18th May- 18th July 2013. She then told me to go back and get a print out statement from FNB, Today (09th July 2013) I went back and the same lady questioned my statement asking me to verify my address whereas it is written on the statement which she had in her hand. I was then transferred to a consultant and she told me that my address is invalid according to their system and I must go back to ALL "companies" that I have accounts with including the municipality (water & lights) to change the address from OYSTER CLOSE to OYSTER LANE to "suit" their system. The manager also said the same thing and said she cannot assist me any how! I am very upset and disappointed by the way Capitec treated me!!!
