Claim still not resolved after a month!

After being in an accident where someone drove into me, my vehicle was written off. I have in the mean time purchased a new vehicle but the claim has still not been resolved and it has been over a month now! Every time I speak to someone in the claims department they are full of promises to get back to me, send me the proof of payments, repay me my premium that went off for this month, but nothing ever happens!!! Then I phone back again and again and repeat the same thing over and over. Why can't you just resolve a claim and get it over with? Why do you wait until the customer gets frustrated before anything happens?
