My aunt was assulted while she was at work

My aunt is an employee at Capitec Bank (Carlswald, Midrand) she got assaulted at work, by a customer's wife. She pressed the panic button as the woman was busy threatening her. My question is where was the security, as this is a bank. The manger and the staff only reacted once this lady and her husband had left the store. I am very angry cause I asked myself had this been a would they have done something or noticed when she was dead. I would be writing this without an aunt and Lulu only a year old without a mother. We all expect banks to be safe but, not this there are no cameras. Even after incident the manager and the staff laughed, she was expected to continue working while she had just been threatened minutes ago. I know this is not a service matter but I believe good service starts with happy employees. When we asked the ABM that was present at the time if the matter had been reported to higher management she said nothing.

would the ABM have reacted to situation when she was dead? Does this the ABM know her job? When in fear of your life and your expected to continue working, the management is certainly in Question.
