Doing things MiWay not when it comes to claims

Business & Finance

I was involved in an accident on the 8th of June and subsequently lodged a claim with MiWay on the 10th June. An assessor, Katlego Sibanyoni, was appointed, I was furnished with his number on the same day. I have only been able to correspond with him on 2 occassions since lodging my claim; via e-mail once and once telephonically. Mr Sibanyoni had assured me during our telecom that the assessor's report would be ready during the week of 17-21 June. I did not hear from him that week. During the week of 24-28 June, I decided to call MiWay and enquire what was the status of my car. I was then informed that my car is a write-off. I enquired what this meant for me and was told that Mr Sibanyoni would be advised to call me in this regard. To date I have not heard from him and everytime I call the Call Centre, I'm told the same thing that Katlego would call me. When I called again today, they referred me to his manager who also is not answering her phone. I need to know what the way forward is re my car that is a write-off!!
