I purchased 1Time tickets using my Capitec account via an EFT. With the demise of 1Time, I was forced to buy replacement tickets and immediately contacted Capitec for assistance. I was told that we will be instructed what to do soon but absolutely nothing happened. My friends purchased Vic Falls holidays also via EFT from another bank and got refunded in full by their bank. When I heard about this, I contacted Capitec again just to hear that I've waited too long and nothing can be done now. They claim that because they couldn't foresee the closure of 1Time, they couldn't prepare for it. As I now know that I cannot rely on any assistance from Capitec, I'm closing my account and taking my R5 million rand per annum turnover account somewhere else.

For a fraction of my bank fees (approx. R20000 per annum) they could've had a very happy and impressed customer. I've never seen such stupid business sense in my life!!
