R5000 was withdrawn from my account at an ATM in JHB, while I was 1000km away in Cintsa. In spite of air tickets, affidavits from 3 people on holiday with me, stating that I had my card in my possession, the bank maintains that it was not. They are implying that we are all lying. Easier to blame the customer than investigate thoroughly. They will not put the money back into my account. They are the Custodians of my money and have let me down.
I have already closed 3 accounts with them.
I have been to the Ombudsman who refer the matter back to the bank. Needless to say with the same outcome. At least I have a clear conscience before that I am telling the truth. The bank is in denial and the are getting away it.
I challenge the TOP person in to contact me and discuss this matter.
I wonder if the CEO knows what is happening in the dept. and how customers are being treated.
