My Mother passed away in January, been faxing documents to sanlam for the funeral claim from March 2013. To date no one is coming back to me! I refaxed them 2 weeks ago and I was contacted by Martha who said she got everything except for a clear death certificate. On the other hand a similar claim was submitted to Salnam Sky and took them less than 24hours to pay.

I am shocked and hurt by the way i have been treated by the consultants who fail to admit they have lost my documentation. Martha even went on to say she is doing me a favour by calling me? I mean who says that to a client who has paid premiums or even for the Service!!! I a m perplexed by the attitude and the lack of accountability. imagine if I had a funeral to arrange, I would still have not laid my mother to rest if I was waiting for the claim!

Consumers be warned, DO NOT RELY ON SANLAM FUNERAL POLICY, seek better service, SANLAM SKY IS RECONMNDED AS THEY PAID WITHIN 24HOURS OF RECIEVING CLAIM.

THEY FORGE WE ARE HUMANS, THEY TREAT US LIKE WE ARE NOBADIES YET WE WANT THE SERVICE WE DESERVE.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! I WILL SURE TAKE THIS MATTER WITH THE AMBUDSMAN AND THE FSB!! THEY NEED TO LOOSE THEIR LISCENCE!!
