AIP MOTER POLICY - PROOF OF INSURANCE???

My husband received a letter from ABSA dated 16 May 2013 informing him that they've issued him with an AIP motor policy underwritten by Hollard and will debit his account with an amount of R289.56 together with his finance instalment. He emailes proof of insurance on the second of June and again on the 12th, he went into the bank, informing them of the refund due but up to date we have not received any feedback/refund. I see on your complaint list that this is not only happening to one person and will be highly appreciated if you can investigate why this is happening and do they do this to secure funds / interest...??? Please get them to do the refund as it's not happening. Thank you
