I have been paying my policy... Life policy since 2002 by monthly debit order. The last one went through in Nov 1012 and was just never presented by Old Mutual again. Only 6 months later my consultant contacted me to inform me that this policy has now lapsed. I contacted their call centre struggling for half an hour to speak to someone, told him, Auther the whole story and he informed me that the debit order has been stopped. I asked him by whom it had been stopped and he could not give me an answer and said he would forward it to the department dealing with this kind of matter and that they would email me within 3-5 working days. A week later I phoned again, needless so say taking for ages to get through. I had to explain the whole situation again and again was told that it would be sent through to the department dealing with the debit orders and again was told it would take 3-5 days then they will send me an e-mail. 3 weeks later and still no response. WHAT CAN I DO???
