Very poor service

On 10 May 2013, at 14:34 I deposited R200 to my sister-in-law via Standard Bank's "ANA ATM". The money never reached her. On the same day I also sent my mother R700 through the same machine and it did not reach her until I called the bank's customer service numer, walked into Van der Walt branch and called the Platina/Mokopane branches - she was sorted and received the money after hours of waiting as the "systems were down".

My sister-in-law never received the R200. I called and I was given a reference number (53225808) for my complaint and promised it will be sorted out in 6 days. I have been calling the bank back-and-forth trying to get this sorted out and I am really tired of wasting my airtime talking for tens of minutes (for nearly two months now) just trying to resolve an issue as simple as this.

Today I called just to give them a try and the telephonist told me she does not know what is happening as the report on "the system" did not say much about the progress being made by her colleagues.
