NO FINANCE FOR VACANT LAND- NO ALTERNATIVE

I aaplied for finance for a vacant stand a week ago. Whilst i provided all required documentation, electronically and physically at the sandton city branch. After about 4days of the application, after not hearing anything, i followed upby fone, and was told they have not received any supporting documentation. i resubmitted the documents. I was this morning informed, by email, not a formal letter, that my application was unsuccessful because FNB doesnt finance vacant land.

No one even bothers to inform me what other alternatives or loan mechanisms i do not use. Further to that i have a friend that was financed on his vacant stand, so i do not understand this double standards being applied to me. It is logically impossible that FNB doesnt finance vacant stand forsomeone that wants to build a house.

I also applied for smart bond, they also informed me that thy dnt finance vacant land and will take the application to homeloans. Now homeloans say they also dnt finance vacant land. Who exactly at FNB finances vacant land?
