How difficult is it to pay me?

I submitted a withdrawal notification for my provident fund at the end of April 2013. I was then told that I would be paid by the 20th June 2013 - and to please bear with them as there had been a few changes and hurdles along the way.

Well, the 20th was 2 days ago. On inquiry I have now been told that the target date for payment has been moved to the 28th because of "internal errors." Internal errors? What are you saying? One of the 4 largest banks in the country and you cannot figure out what you owe me. Common, what kind of shop are you running!?

If I am not mistaken, by law, you have 8 weeks to pay me. 8 weeks are up on Tuesday.

If you have not paid me by then I will take this matter further. I will also make sure that I NEVER in my life do any business with ABSA ever again.

Time is ticking, let's see what happens.
