Completely Disappointing

Let me start off by saying, the service from Old Mutual for the time I've been a member has always been, if anything, Top Class. So It's VERY disappointing to have to complain.

However.
I've been trying to surrender my policy with Old mutual for a Week now. (Changing to another product with Old Mutual which better suits my needs right now). I've called the call centre & emailed them & EVERY response I've received was giving me different things to do and different documents were required.
After supplying what I've been told to give, I was told by the next person to supply something else. Then to top it off, after been told by the call agent (Vareena) Yesterday that my policy has been placed on Paid Up status, I then receive an E-mail this morning from Group Schemes stating my policy is not on Paid Up status.
Ridiculous maybe?
The frustrating part is, that the process takes 20-25days to complete, and now, with all these UNNECESSARY delays, It's probably going to be another month until the process is complete.
Where's the sense of Urgency Old Mutual? Tell me what to do. Or better yet, give me a competent person to speak to.
