Frustrating!

I can't recall the last time I was able to phone Standard Bank once, reach the department I'm looking for and be assisted successfully in one go. Today again, I searched for my branch's contact number online, because from past experiences I find that working via the national call centre, it just causes more frustration. To my surprise (not), i only found the national number and gave it a go anyway. I reached a person after hearing the "standard bank jingle" about 30 times. Once I explained my query I was told I needed to talk to another department. The consultant gave me their number and also put me through. One I reached the other department I was told that I needed to contact another department, can't say I'm surprise. I then asked the gentleman if he's sure this is where I needed to be and he assured me it is. I dialed the alternative number to the department "where I actually" needed to be... I've been on hold for the entire duration of logging this review and can now recite the standard bank jingle in my sleep and have been informed multiple times of how important my call is and that all consultants are still busy, clearly working hard at avoiding other important calls.
