Medical Aid Subsidies

Mutual & Federal Pensioners. Most PENSIONERS will not be aware that M&F, having subsidised Medical Aid Premiums by 50% for decades, now subsidise by less than 40% which subsidy will continue to reduce annually on the basis on which subsidies are now calculated. Also, previously a perk entailed monthly premiums calculated on pension at time of retirement, but now premiums are calculated on present pension, resulting in massive monthly increase in premium. I have been writing to M&F since December 2011 without a satisfactory answer to my query. Surely it should not take 18 months to get an answer from a company like M&F where correspondence always seem to be delegated, then relegated to file13. Surely these people have some empathy for their pensioners!
