I purchased groceries from Pick & Pay on 23/02/13 to the value of R5119.and according to the smart shopper multipliers my Pick & Pay points had to be mulitplied X4. In March I noticed that my points had not been multiplied so I telephoned Discovery Card. Spoke to Tsepo who informed me that they had not received my till slip from Pick & Pay and without the till slip they could do nothing. Pick & Pay informed me they sent it. Discovery wanted a copy. Which person in their right mind keeps a till slip for 2 months? I was able to get it and supplied it on 26/03/13. I was told it would be credited during next billing cycle. Up until today nothing has been credited. I telephoned on 27/05 as well as 31/05 and spoke to Tsepo and Betina. All I get is that it has been escalated to their superiors. The customer must do everything for Discovery. The time and energy it has taken to try and solve this problem cant be described. Discovery does not return calls. If they are unable to handle such a simple query, how can they handle the big stuff like my medical and insurance. I am very disappointed about this. Been a Disc. Card holder for 10 years but seriously thinking of cancelling my membership.
