Beware of ABSA

When used my debit card today 10-06-2013, I realized funds was missing out of my account,

When I enquired with ABSA they told me the funds was paid over for a ten year old debt, without my knowledge or consent,

The lady at enquiries told me that they have the right to just take my money.

This debt have prescribed, and I have had no correspondence from Bankfin in the last ten years regarding the said debt.

I have not given anybody including ABSA permission to take these or any funds, nor signed any acknowledgement of debt, have entered into any correspondence regarding this matter.

How can ABSA just take money out of my ACCOUNT without my knowledge or consent???
