Staff Unapologetic after bank mistake - Unhelpful

On 31 June Nedbank PL decided to double-deduct both debit orders for my loans, causing havoc in my current account as cash flow is now.

Contacted the call center on Monday 3 June requesting reversal. I was told that their system could not give me a reference number. But they assure me it will be refunded within 3-4 business days. No apologies about making a mistake.

Nothing got refunded and by Friday 7 June I call the call center to follow up on why nothing has happened. First thing they ask? My reference number! Anyway they confirm that the refund had been processed and will definitely show up in my bank account before end of day on Friday. Now it is Sunday night and the refund still does not show...

Additionally I sent an email to the address they suggested, requesting an explanation of why this happened:
and received the following back: "Thank you for your email. Please be advised that your email has automatically... Reference number :8593022"

I am very unhappy at the response of the call centers, and at least expect Nedbank to acknowledge the fact that they made a mistake.

Oh and refund the money they took so eagerly took with some urgency
