ABSA listed me on ITC - Need Help

2 days ago I was shocked to see I was listed on ITC by ABSA as being in default on a loan repayment.
On 26 March 2013, my bond account was cancelled in the deeds office - transferred to buyer.
ITC reports 12 April as date I was listed by ABSA as being in default of the loan.
My bond attorneys had told me that ABSA's lawyers would contact me to give the bank details of ABSA account into which I could pay the agreed amount per month (from end April).
On 17 May, my attorneys paid in an amount to ABSA of R4955.81 (a number of months worth of the agreed monthly payment).
2 days ago, I emailed [Email Removed] asking for this default listing on ITC removed. I also copied the ABSA lawyers. Awaiting response from both.
I like ABSA. I only wish that I had been contacted and consulted BEFORE they listed me on ITC. I am trying to change career and this is a huge problem. I feel my reputation is damaged by this.
It is harsh to be listed little over two weeks after bond cancellation when I have paid enough to cover some months worth of repayments.
Any help you could give me would really be appreciated.
