CARDLESS SERVICE APPALLING!!!

I tried to do a cardless deposit using the Standard bank ATM (ID:1983) in Sanridge Mall in Midrand. The atm stopped working while I was busy and the option for cardless deposit was disabled. I had already put the money in the atm &account details of the recipient. I didn't receive an sms stating the transaction was successful. What baffles me is the bank offers this option but there's no support for when people encounter problems. The only support number displayed on the atm is for lost cards. I called the contact centre &I spoke to Josephine who told me she contacted the technical people for the branch& that they would reboot the machine in 15 min. I waited for 15 minutes &I didn't see anything happening to the ATM that resembled a system reboot. Josephine told me that the transaction would be completed successfully after the reboot if I entered the details correctly- which I did. I went to the Brayanston branch today to follow-up. I found out that the money was not deposited into the account &that it will take 12 days for the bank to conduct an investigation. Whose fault is it if the bank has unreliable software or hardware- whatever caused the failure? I just want my money back.
