Cold Calling from Budget Insurance is a problem!

I received a call on work number from a sales agent who introduced himself as calling from budget insurance. He proceeded to advise that he received an sms from me stating that i requested a call back. I immediately said you are lying. The consultant chuckled and I then said well if you not aren't lying then the people supplying you with the information are lying to you. I DID NOT sent out any communication from either my cell, or via email, or on their website, requesting for a call back. Prior to my call, my entire team received similar calls. I suggest that if Budget intends on employing a cold calling strategy or a referral strategy for new business, that they change their call scripts and don't assume the request came from that client. It becomes very annoying.
