Illegal debt collection

I keep on getting calls from debt collectors every few years re alleged outstanding balance with House & Home/OK Furniture. I have not bought anything from House & Home since 1997 and my last account has been paid up since about 1998. Every time I ask the debt collectors what I supposedly bought, they can't tell me. Even if I owed House & Home (which I certainly do not), the debt has prescribed according to the national credit act. DMC called this morning, and the cheeky woman told me I should know what I bought. I callled Hyperama Head Office and the woman I spoke to said she will get back to me, because she can't see on their system what I bought. She also had the nerve to tell me that debt does not subscribe after 3 years. I am going to lay a complaint about DMC and House & Home with the credit regulator. I also want any negative info relating to this removed from my credit profile.
