Every excuse from absa, to not pay out insurance

My dad was in an accident last year, he called the insurance and sent the car to SMG in durban as they were to repair it and get paid by the insurance. Absa issued us a courtesy car which i was using as i was also on the insurance profile and had no other vehicle to use since our vehicle was damaged to unroadworthiness. My dad unfortunately passed away in February this year (his cause of death not relating to the accident)

My broker was informed of this and he said that i should keep the courtesy car until our car was repaired.
A week or so later i get a call from a guy named Desmond, who said he is investigating our claim. This man was absolutely rude, he threatened to charge me for, he told me he knows i am a lecturer and he knows it will ruin my career. Excuses were made about the tyres and various other accusations, SMG then stated on the report that the tyre condition was good. No sympathy whatsoever regarding the fact that i am now an orphan after my dad passed on.
He said alot more but i think ive made my point.
Avis phoned me& said that they will be calling security to get the courtesy car from me as ABSA demanded, i then returned the car.
I will never recommend ABSA
