Do I have to beg to get a response?

My insurance made a payment into my account and I wanted to check what the outstanding balance was, so I call MFC requesting the outstanding balance and I was referred to Ntombifuthi Sibeko, a legal consultant, who was handling the account. She requested proof of payment as the payment was not reflecting and I e-mailed this to her on the 7th of January'13. I followed up on the 8th and she told me she'd just started working on it and would get back to me. She got back to me on the 9th, only after I reminded her about my request. On the very same day I told her I wanted to spread the remaining balance over the remaining term and she promised to transfer me to the relevant department and get them to call me. I waited 5 days and there was no call, so I e-mailed her to remind her. It's been another 3 days and still no response from her - am I supposed to remind her again? Time is ticking and the 25th is around the corner - I need to sort out that amount that you are going to deduct! I called MFC again today and I was referred to another person who's not picking up their phone. What is wrong with MFC - do you do this to all your customers!?
