Cancelled my funetral policy without notice

I'm very angry at Hollard for ending my funeral policies without notifying me that my d/o were unpaid via SMS like they normally do with other notices. Hollard normally send me SMS reminders to notify me that the d/o dates have been moved due to public holidays & Sundays falling on the 27th which is my billing date. But all of a sudden they changed my no back to the old cell which I no longer use. They were supposed to send me an SMS that my d/o did not go through. But what did they do, they sent it to the old no and when I spoke to Phillis, supervisor, she said to me "it's not Hollard responsibility to notify me of this" and that "my claim does not hold any water". I was by these comments coming from a person that has to find a solutions to problems. I pointed out a simple fact that why send me notices about d/o dates on an updated number and yet send me the more serious SMS of a policy lapsing on an old no. Now I have to pay R 900.00 odd which I don't have a problem with, but the issue is that both policies will now have a 6 months waiting period before we can claim, which is ridiculous. I will be forwarding the matter to the office of the Consumer Commission.
