ADVERTISE SPECIALS BUT REFUSE TO SUPPLY

FNB advertised via Fin 24 and on their front screen of their sight that they were offering special deals on Samsung Galaxy S4's to both new clients and their existing (cheque account) client base as well as business accounts. The Fin 24 article said that clients should contact FNB direct. I did this the next morning via their on - line site and was guided through the site with prompts until I was told to sms a number and FNB would respond. After two days they phoned but I was in a meeting and so visited my local branch to see if I could get some satisfaction there. The consultant phoned head office on my behalf and was told that FNB had made a mistake and would only process the offer for businesses in the future, with no date given. I then sent a complaint via their online complaints and have not received a response --- now 10 days.
Why do I get the feeling that FNB are only looking for new clients and have no real interest their existing loyal client base. Such a pity when they "can't help me ". This was to be such a nice surprise for the 14th May --- a birthday.
