Poor Claim Management and Customer Service

Well I started my report and ran out of characters!! So to cut a long story very short. I feel Miway's customer service and claims management is very poor and inconsiderate especially when a person has been the victim of a traumatic armed. Chris Hartzenberg the claims assessor treated me like a criminal after myself and my family had been through an armed. Victoria in the retentions department finally phoned me back after repeated attempts to phone and cancel my policy and promised to investigate the matter further and I have never heard from her again. Andre Spies who I was told was Chris Hartzenberg's senior, when communicated with regarding what we felt was very poor treatment by Chris - replied simply stating that he did not agree with us. To be fair - my car claim was dealt with promptly and professionally and completely to my satisfaction but the household insurance was very confusing as I had specified my wedding ring at R33000-00 and household goods at R150 000-00 which I now know was very unrealistic and accepted a pro-rata would be in order but I did feel the specified item should be covered in full.
