I settled my vehicle account on the 21st of May and yet my account was still debited with the repayment amount on the 26th of May. I called the call Centre and they had the audacity to tell me that they can only process a refund in 3 working days! I'm very aggrieved by this because I don't understand why their systems and processes are so flawed that they cannot recognised an account that has been settled? To make matters worse, they didn't even have my account details on their system anymore since the account has been settled yet they have the gall to debit my account! I spoke to Vuyo Madyibi at the call centre who put me on hold for copious amounts of time while she was trying to verify who heads up their accounts department! How atrocious! Then she said that the only person in management that she can refer me to is Natasha Neetling who happens not to take calls from customers since that's not her function! Such arrogance! It nauseates me that I have been a customer with this bank for for the past 18 years and yet this is the kind of appaling service that they think I deserve! What value do you, as standard bank, place on your customers? I want my money back today!!!
