My car had been in and out Ger-Matic Auto Body, as service provider to Outsurance and messed up my car so bad. After 6 months Outsurance decided to write this car off (A Brand new VW Polo with 9600km's) due to the fact that Ger-Matic can't get it repaired. At this stage asked the claims advisor what impact will this have on my insurance profile, and her reply was "NOTHING, AS THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT THE REPAIRERS MESSED UP YOUR VEHICLE". This is yet another month that has passed since Outsurance paid me out for the VW Polo. A few days after they paid out, I bought a new car and phoned Outsurance for a comprehensive quote, just to find out that this writing off process had a direct impact on my insurance profile. My CLAIM RATIO went to over 422% where the actual should be around 100%. It is a month now and Outsurance cannot get this solved. Outsurance just will not let their service provider (Ger-Matic) take the blame for this and clear my profile to the original damage of R36 000. I've been a client to Outsurance for 7 1/2 years, sadly claimed 3 times. This last claim had been dragging on for 6 months and now I'm still tormented by the repetition of this mess-up caused by Ger-Matic
