I currently have an account with Standard Bank. I went into the branch to enquire if I could move my existing account from a savings account to a cheque account and was told that this is not possible. How on earth can a bank not be able to move a savings account to a cheque account? I earn more than enough to qualify for a cheque account and just find this to be very poor. Why offer so many options if you can't be moved from a savings to a cheque account?
