2 weeks to get a response on a business overdraft

Phoned call centre May 10th to request an overdraft. I was told someone would contact me by day end. Nothing. Phoned and was told to call on Sat. just before 1.Nothing. Phoned Mon x2, and was told there would be follow up. On Tuesday Emily from the branch who had been on leave (why was no-one fulfilling her duties?)contacted me and I was told again to expect a response within 24-48 hours. Nothing. Phone Thursday and Friday, told that they were inundated with work and had a backlog, try first thing on Monday. Nothing. Tuesday - advised there was an issue with the surety as a former partner, who left the business 5 years ago is still listed (or something to that nature). I explained that the appropriate paperwork had been given to the branch TWICE, the last time at least 2 years ago, Emily agreed and said that she would send an application to have him removed from Surety. Thursday - unable to get any answer on Emily's phone as she was consulting and no-one else answers her phone. Friday - call centre tells me that it has been rejected due to Surety, Emily tells me it is still under review. Meanwhile there was an RD on the account so will be rejected. Bad service and no feedback!
