ABSA INSURANCE IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

I have been an ABSA client for 32 years. Financed 5 properties & 15 vehicles with them over the years. Easter holidays 1 of my properties were burgled and vandalised. I reported it to ABSA on 16 Apr and told excess would be R500. On 17 Apr I saw the assessor on site who told me excess will be R1000 as property was vacant.By 2 May nothing had happened, I contacted ABSA and was told Ntladi was handling my claim and had not received report from assessor. 6 May I contacted assessors Digicall and spoke to Lungelo. He said report was at ABSA on 2 May but ABSA has problems with their systems. 8 May I spoke to Ntladi at ABSA, who informed me that he will appoint a contractor to repair damage to my property.By 15 May nothing had happened. I phoned Ntladi's direct line with no reply and was then told he was off. On 20 May I spoke to Ntladi and he promised to appoint a contractor same day.By 23 May no contractor. I complained to personal banker. 24 May I contacted Ntladi and was told my claim has been rejected as property was vacant for 60 days. WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL ME THIS ON 16 APRIL WHEN 1ST REPORTED? I COULD HAVE FIXED MY PLACE ALREADY! I HAVE HAD TO PAY R200/DAY FOR A GUARD!!!
