Technical error impacting on bank's reliability

I have placed a Notice to Withdraw on a 32 day account. The funds were supposed to be transferred into my account today. The notice was ACCEPTED by FNB. Today, the funds was not transferred to my cheque account. The amount - that was initially showed as unavailable in the notice account, was suddenly transferred back into the notice account. It is as if the notice just ceased to exist, and I don't have the money. This is a huge inconvenience, but may impact extremely negative on FNB's reliability as a bank. This in unacceptable. Surely if the notice period was too short, the system should have rejected the notice from the beginning?
