My Grandfather had his vehicle on 9 October 2012. He has comprehensive home and vehicle insurance with Standard Bank. That was when the toing and froing began, firstly with Express Loss Analysts cc and now with Standard Bank Insurance themselves. I've had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with Sibusiso who has been nothing but evasive since day one. He hardly ever answers his phone (011 7777477) and when he does, will not part with any information. His favourite trick to evade the situation is to promise to phone back, of course he never does. To date, neither my Grandfather or I have any idea as to the status of the claim. My Grandfather's premiums are up to date, in fact he has paid every premium since October 2012 despite him no longer needing the insurance, just in case it would affect the pay-out. That's in excess of R5, 600 paid out for insurance on a vehicle he doesn't have! The matter was escalated to Noreen at 11.20am this morning, 14 May 2013. She has promised to phone me back in a hour, let's see if she does!
