Absa
Declined Home Loan

I also applied for a homeloan with Absa and was declined. it is so so disappointing cos i have only ever banked with Absa since i was a student. they 'take' my money every month, salary, savings, credit card, investments, etc but they cant give me their homeloan product. i have received approval from other banks but i would like to get approval from my own personal bank. I am an IC1 client, excellent credit history but still they wont help me. they are prepared to give me up to R19 000 overdraft but not a homeloan for R5000pm. what an irony!!! sadly, if i dont get a positive offer from Absa, its truely very sad, cos when we need our banks help, they dont want to help us. and i can afford a bond, if you give me low interest rates but obviously not if you inflate them - how are you helping your client in that way! very very disappointed!
