My account was debited without my concern

Last year I received my yearly bonus into my Absa account the same day i went to check for my money in my account but all i saw was an empty account of which I received a sms notification informing me that my money had been cridited to my account. I tried to ask one of the consultant who seemed to be confused at all and i don't blame her for not knowing anything about her company I blame the managers who hired her. I showed them my statement and she told me that those were bank charges an amount of R550 was gone just like that as bank charges.
I decided to stop using my account but deep inside myself i was so hurt.
