On Friday 29 March 2013 @ approximately 16:53pm I attempted to withdraw R200 from a FNB atm in the Chatsworth Centre. No money came out, however I received an sms also @ 16:53pm telling me that my balance was now less R200. A slip came out informing me of the following: WITHDRAWAL: WE HAVE ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR BRANCH FOR ASSISTANCE. Guess what!!! I did contact my branch - Std Bank Port Shepstone, I waited 2 hours in the ENQUIRIES QUEUE (2 Tellers to assist 50 people). When I did eventually get to the enquiries teller. I showed her the slip & informed her that no money came out opf the ATM. She said she would log an enquiry an that I would be contacted in 12 business days. I was given Reference No: 52567574. WELL 12 BUSINESS DAYS, HAVE COME & GONE. It is now May & I am still waiting for Standard Bank to REFUND ME MY R200. No one called, no one cares. Well I would like to inform you that your moto Simpler, Better, Faster, does not do it for me. I have a loan, credit card & transactional account with you. I am going to be switching all of these to Nedbank ASAP. At least I will be appreciated & assisted as customer.
