Repeated calls with no one at the end of the line

I have been recieving calls from Standard Bank for the past 20 days at 07:50 daily. When i answer there is no one on the line and then it merely disconnects. Now i see that my account has been handed over to attorneys for collections. I did eventually get to speak to a very useless Elias who was extremely rude and unconcerned with the fact that i keep on getting these inadequate phonecalls. He was unwiling to listen to my side of the story and merely repeated, can i have your ID number, can i have your ID number, can i have your ID number. Which upset me even more.
Standard Bank - i only bank with you because my husband banks with Steve. Your service is pathetic.
