32 CALL ACCOUNT BIG MISTAKE

Business & Finance

I have been a loyal customer of FNB for many years a month ago I invested a large some of money to my 32 day call account until I lost a loved one and needed the funds so I went through to FNB and asked for an emergancy withdraw, under terms and conditions its states that it can be done and that there will be a penatalty that would have to be charged for early withdraw which I understood, so I then explain my situation to the consultant who then informed me that I needed to bring a death cetificate as proof CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT, I was so upset I just lost a family memeber and here my bank who I trusted with my MONEY now wants me to provided them with proof that a family memeber has passed away I found that very dissapointing I understand that there are process that needed to be followed but suerly there is a process for a time like this I felt like a crimnal in the bank who I trusted for all these years, NOW I FEEL LIKE I JUST WANT ALL MY MONEY AND I WANT TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT AND TAKE MY BUSINESS TO ANOTHER BANK.
