Deal not sealed but Groupon has my money!

I bought something on [URL Removed] on 24 April 2013 for R755 and you will be able to see this transaction on my account [Email Removed] I did the online transaction on my cheque card. I immediately received an sms and email from FNB confirming the transaction.

I then checked my order on GroupOn website and it said "Deal not permitted, because payment has been refused." I thought it strange and called GroupOn immediately on 0212017100 to be assisted by Basheer who said that the transaction failed and GroupOn will not receive the funds because it was rejected by FNB. Huh??? I got the sms and my statement reflects it. He then continued to say that FNB will refund the amount back to my account within 7 days.

I reported it to FNB and they just called me to say that GroupOn received this money the day after the transaction.

So now what??? I feel like I'm being robbed. Its my first time buying via GroupOn and it certainly does not seem like something I would want to do again.

Bottom line - I want this deal and if it expires before this goes through, there better be some decent compensation besides my R755 refund.

Very upsetting.
